Valor University Honor Code

Integrity in learning. Courage in action. Honor in all things.

At Valor University, we believe character matters as much as achievement. Our community is built on the conviction that knowledge carries responsibility, trust is earned through action, and excellence means little without integrity.

As members of this community, we commit to these principles:

1. Act with honesty

We speak truthfully, represent our accomplishments accurately, and take responsibility for our choices. We do not deceive, falsify records, or misrepresent the work of others as our own.

2. Uphold academic integrity

We submit original work, acknowledge our sources, and follow the rules established for every assignment and examination. We use collaboration, technology, and artificial intelligence only as permitted, and disclose assistance when required.

3. Respect every person

We treat others with dignity, including when we disagree. We reject harassment, discrimination, intimidation, and retaliation, and help create an environment where everyone can learn and contribute.

4. Demonstrate moral courage

We choose what is right over what is easy. We acknowledge mistakes, address wrongdoing through appropriate university channels, and support those who raise concerns in good faith.

5. Steward our shared resources

We respect the property, privacy, intellectual contributions, and time of others. We use university resources responsibly and protect information entrusted to us.

6. Lead through service

We use our education to contribute beyond ourselves. We practice humility, honor our commitments, and seek opportunities to strengthen our communities.

The Valor Pledge

“As a member of Valor University, I pledge to act with honesty, learn with integrity, treat others with dignity, and lead with courage. I will take responsibility for my actions, honor the work of others, and use my knowledge in service to a greater good.”

This Honor Code expresses our shared commitments. Formal reporting procedures, review processes, and consequences should be defined in the university’s accompanying policies.
